My Work

Wireframe Design for UberEats: This project is a piece of work I have worked on during my free time to practice wireframing. The key skills I focused on were designing and editing. I thought of a more user-friendly approach when working on this so it wasn’t much of an obstacle to think of how I would develop this project. I thought about how the current Uber Eats webpage could be more simplified and not cluttered. I focused on making the page a lot less cluttered where it would take endless scrolling to find certain options, which would have been overwhelming for users. I prioritized making the page simpler by adding the search bar in the middle along with displaying recently purchased items on the bottom. This brought improvement to my profession by looking from the perspective of users and thinking of simple designs to navigate the website more easily along with developing a way to approach an inclusive audience that would be provided with good services.

XA 242 Client Project: This is an ongoing project from my Experience Architecture course. The client project is a group project where we redesign the iteach.msu.edu website by creating prototypes for the client to present for our class as part of our coursework in Experience Architecture. Our objective is to design and prototype the pages of the site aimed at enhancing connections between faculty and students where they can share ideas, improve teaching practices and academics, and provide helpful resources. I took on the role of analyzing the website to give feedback and ideas on what they could add to the prototypes along with contributing to designing the prototypes. My second role is to also create a presentation for our prototypes to present in class. So far, this project has helped me to collaborate with other people and enhance my design skills, which is essential in the field of XA.

Photo Editing using Adobe Photoshop: For this project, I worked on a couple of pictures that I chose for a class project. The objective was to learn and apply the skills taught in the class to any pictures of our choice. The primary long term goals I wanted to meet were to improve the quality, appeareance, and impact of images, whether for personal enjoyment, professional purposes or artistic expression. During the project, I learned about color grading, removing unwanted elements, manipulating photos using effects and filters, typography, and more. By learning these skills, I met my goal of creating perfectly edited images that could unlock a new path towards my web design career. This would enhance my skills for careers where visual communication is key.
